NO TRASH - SOME GRAFFITI

Since a few visitors continue to scrawl graffiti on the interior of the cab, it has become an annual project by
FoBM volunteers to haul up supplies to repaint the cab. Unfortunately, the custom door, made by volunteer Larry C. in Rochester last year, also was defaced by thoughtless visitors.
BUT . . . the "OL' GIRL" STILL LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!
On behalf of all our volunteers, THANK YOU to all who show respect for this historic landmark. 
Our GOAL is to keep her standing a good many more years for the
thousands of annual visitors to the summit.

In Memory of JACK -

It was just a year ago that our primary volunteer contractor JACK BALL from Old Forge passed away. It was Jack who calculated all the necessary supplies - from the wood for stairs & decking, the concrete for the footers, the fencing material, & every nut and bolt used during the first years of our restoration work. We miss you very much Jack!

In other NEWS - CONGRATULATIONS to Daniel & Stephanie from Sylvan Beach who recently got engaged on Bald Mountain!
