Directions from Old Forge, NY: Drive north on Route 28 from the Tourist Information Office for 4.5 miles, turning left unto the Rondaxe Rd. A NYS DEC sign marks the turn and another 0.2 mile on the left side of the Rondaxe Rd. for the parking area. 

Directions from Eagle Bay, NY: Drive south on Route 28 from the Eagle Bay-Big Moose Rd. junction. Turn right unto Rondaxe Rd., then 0.2 miles on the left to the parking area.

Register at the trailhead and follow the DEC red trail markers 0.9 miles to the summit and tower. The total ascent from the parking lot is less than 400ft.
